Well, I completed the whole 48 hours. It left me tired but fulfilled for the rest of the week.
It’s also my 26th birthday next week. I’m trying to pretend that it’s not happening and I’ve been all sad this week. I HATE my birthday.
Cupcake of the week: None. It’s too hot to bake. But I am making Cookie Dough ones for a birthday party.
Reviews posted this week:
- Island Beneath the Sea by Isabel Allende
- A Tapestry of Dreams by Roberta Gellis
- The Long Journey Home by Margaret Robison
- Jerusalem Maiden by Talia Carner
- Scandal in Scotland by Karen Hawkins
- Supernova by C.L. Parker
This week's question is:
Q. The magic book fairy pops out of your cereal box and says "you and your favorite character (from a book of course) can switch places!" Who are you going to switch with?
Hmm…I know the easy answer would be to say Elizabeth Bennet or Anne Shirley. But for now, I really want to be Alice Cullen. I know, I know. Weird. But I have a crush on Jasper right now. It’s the southern gentleman thing. Or maybe, Kerrigan from Supernova because I think her powers are awesome and Dominic is my new supercrush. Seriously, everyone, go and get Supernova. I’m just about going a little crazy about this book.
Who is the ONE author that you are DYING to meet?
I don’t know if I am dying to meet any author. I would like to meet some. I would love to meet any author that I have given a gold star review to, Jane Austen, L.M. Montgomery, Lisa Kleypas, Julia Quinn, Cassandra Clare, Maggie Stiefvater and Virginia Woolf. As you can tell, some are deceased so it’s likely never going to happen with them.
