Macy Beckett's Sultry With a Twist was one of my reading highlights of 2012. I was anxious for this book because I knew it would be about Trey and I just loved Trey in the last book. Beckett did not disappoint.
Bobbi was just great. I loved her. She was feisty and lively. She had the same feelings about marriage that I do and also the same dislike of misplaced apostrophes. She also had a bit of a rocky past which added a nice depth to her character. It was difficult not to like her even though reality TV leads to kind of slimy associations. I knew I would love Trey so it was not such a surprise that I did end up loving him. But I am a bit surprised at how much. Possibly more than Luke. He was sweet and a bit scampy and I loved him.
I loved this book. I did and even writing this review on perhaps the worst day of my life, it still brings a smile to my face thinking about it. I always get extremely excited when books I am anxiously awaiting don't disappoint me. The chemistry between Bobbi and Trey was amazing. They bickered and fought but they were just perfect together. I love them more than June and Luke. Macy Beckett is quickly becoming one of my favorite contemporary romance authors. I will be anxiously awaiting Colton's book—he's going to be quite the hero.
