There's No Place Like Home...

Grace Mulcahy thought she'd finally gotten Apple Grove, Ohio, out of her system. Then she's lured back for a family barbecue and spies a broad-shouldered hottie hanging out at the grill. He somehow seems utterly at ease, whether flipping burgers or horsing around with her hellion nephews. Why didn't her brother-in-law tell her he had such gorgeous friends? Suddenly her mouth is watering for more than her best friend's famous pie.

Some fires aren't meant to be fought

When firefighter Pat Garahan sees Grace, it's like a five-alarm bell goes off and he's the one ablaze. She says she wants to leave Apple Grove, but he will do whatever it takes to keep her around. The life of a firefighter isn't an easy one though, and he'll have to prove their immediate spark can have a lasting chance at love..

My Review:

Intro Babble: To start off, this is a namesake book. I love them and have a small collection of them. I have been waiting for Grace's story in a big way. Not only because we share a first name but she's been my favorite character in the series. And she didn't let me down. I absolutely loved this book.

Heroine: Grace-I loved her and it's not just because we share the same name. She was smart, spunky and one of the most realistic, non-obnoxious heroine I have ever had the good fortune to come across. If you are ever in a drought where every heroine you come across seems like a bleating ninny, read this book. It will cure you of the heroine induced weariness.

Hero: Patrick-I absolutely loved him as well. He was a sweetie. He was also a fireman so he had that man in uniform thing going for him. I did have some moments where I wanted to smack him but they were few and far between.

Chemistry: It was sort of love at first signt but not in that obnoxious way. It was believable and not at all overdone. Patrick was buttass in love with Grace from the beginning but it was done in such a perfect way. Grace and Patrick had their moments of slight angst but, overall, they are the romance couple to give you a nice break from all the other romance couple who make you crazy. Or at least that's what they were to me.

Chemistry Rating:

Ending Babble: I love C.H. Admirand. Contemporary romance authors very rarely make my favorite authors list but Admirand is on it. Her books remind me very much of Jill Shalvis. Small town romances with perfectly loveable characters and interesting stories. This book was perfection. Grace and Patrick were so perfect together and they were so well written, the town is full of interesting characters and the writing is excellent. I highly recommend that you pick up this one. Or any C.H. Admirand book.
