Intro: I am a bit late with this one. I got caught in a doctor’s office waiting room vortex and me being the person I am does not have a smart phone with which to post away from home. Anyway, I loved this book. I knew I would when I saw the cover but I really did once I read it.
Heroine: Elle-I loved her. She was an amazing character. She was such a strong personality but in a completely tolerable way. I loved her sarcasm and quick wit. She was bullied in school and most of that was really hard to read because it made me quite mad and protective.
Hero: Nero-He was the popular kid in school which given how much I liked Elle. He was a bit cocky and he did have that arrogance about him but I found that I liked him anyway. He was different with Elle. She brought this sweet and gentle side out of Nero that I found both surprising and endearing.
Chemistry: I loved Elle and Nero together. On paper, they really don’t seem as if they match but they work so well together. Elle tames Nero and Nero gives an edge to Elle. They’re perfect.
Conclusion: I can tell right off that this is going to be a series that I fangirl. I love Sarah Brianne’s writing style and I LOVE how she writes her characters. I cannot wait for the next book in the series. Chloe was awesome in this book and I can’t wait for her story.
Hey! My name is Sarah Brianne and after living for twenty-two years the characters in my head told me enough was enough and I have finally put pen to paper (or is it finger to keyboard?) to tell their stories. Since I was a little girl I have watched every chick flick I could get my hands on, then when I became older I discovered a whole new world of romance novels. To me there is nothing better then a tale of true love and those are the stories that have inspired me to write. Like everything else in my life I have put my own spin on two lovers destined to be together.
Next to my books my prized possession are my two beautiful fur babies, Kalypso and Khaleesi. I know what you’re thinking, do you pack them in your purse? Yep, right next to my kindle.
