They meet and their physical attraction is mutual but both experience feelings that could run deeper - if they drop their guard and let each other in. Decklan is first to trust, but when he discovers the secret Amanda's been hiding, will he forgive? Or will he rebuild every wall before she has a chance to explain?

My Review:

Intro: I have really liked what I’ve read of this series. So I was looking forward to picking this one up. And Carly Phillips is a favorite of mine.

Characters:

Heroine: Amanda-She was definitely an interesting heroine. She had body image issues, a critical mother and an avoidance of relationships. But she’s such a strong character throughout the book.

Hero: Decklan-Declan was just plain old awesome. He was…amazing. I have a huge thing for cop heroes and he is definitely in my top 10 of hero cops. He did have his own issues and I like how they gave him such vulnerability and depth.

Chemistry: Decklan and Amanda had some amazing chemistry. Seriously, some of their scenes made me blush…and I never blush. But I also like how there was a lot of emotional depth to their story.

Chemistry Rating:

Ending Babble: I love this series. They are so good. I love how well the story is balanced with the heat level and also how well the characters were developed. I can’t wait for the next one.
