Intro: I am normally a bit iffy about jumping into a series so late but I figured I would give it a go with this one. It just sounded so good and I am a bit of a weakling when a book sounds good.
Heroine: Bliss-She is one of the best heroines I have come across in the BDSM genre. She is strong, smart and not at all wishy-washy. She takes some control. She is not a bystander.
Hero: Stephan-He frustrated me a lot. He seemed very controlling and overbearing towards Bliss. Not as bad as Christian Grey. Not even a little bit. But still enough that I wanted to throw a shoe at him.
Chemistry-I loved how Kent portrayed this type of relationship. The rules were laid out and agreed upon. Both characters had agency and control. I find that lacking in other similar books---not mentioning any titles.
Conclusion: I really liked this one. I think I may look into this genre more given how much I loved Bound By Bliss. I will definitely be going back and reading the previous books in the series which sound just as good.
Lavinia Kent is a former two-term president of the Washington Romance Writers and a four-time Romance Writers of America Golden Heart nominee. She lives in Washington, D.C., with her family and an ever-changing menagerie of pets.
