Tony Black is the hottest surfer on the planet. He travels the world throughout the year and spends his summers on Cape Cod with his friends, at the Seaside cottages in Wellfleet, Massachusetts. He’s got his choice of women, but Amy Maples is the one he wants. Fourteen years ago she was his for an entire summer, until a devastating accident changed everything, and what they had seemed like it had never existed—at least for her.

Amy Maples is as consistent as the day is long. She’s spent summers on Cape Cod forever, she always does the right thing, and she’s spent years trying to reclaim the heart of Tony Black, the only man she’s ever loved. She’s back for a summer of fun with her friends at Seaside, only this year she’s been offered the opportunity of a lifetime thousands of miles away, and she’s decided to try one last time to reconnect with Tony. But having a relationship with Tony means dealing with her past—and dealing with her past may knock her to her knees.

My Review:

Intro: I am finally feeling better from my two weeks of illness. I was getting a little worried about myself there. I did, however, manage to get quite a lot of reading done during my lengthy illness and Seaside Secrets was one of the books I read---and loved.

I am a big fan of Melissa Foster. I have been reading through her books a bit sporadically but I have loved every one I have picked up.

Heroine: Amy-It was so easy to identify with and like Amy. She was the shy and quiet girl with a long-standing crush. I mean that’s practically teen movie sort of perfect. It was so easy to root for her.

Hero: Tony-Tony was an awesome hero. He was kind and likable. He was protective of Amy and it is never in doubt just how much he loves her. He is definitely one of my favorite heroes in this series.

Chemistry- Amy and Tony have such a long and painful history that it is almost difficult to read at the start. There is plenty of angst and pain in their history together. But there journey back to each other is definitely interesting.

Chemistry Rating:

Conclusion: Melissa Foster is one of my favorites and Seaside Secrets is the perfect example of why. Her writing style is engaging, her characters are likable and her stories are always heart-wrenchingly angsty. I loved this one..
